Feiereisen offers several types of binding services including Wire-O, Coil and PUR (polyurethane reactive) binding. Wire-O binding is the most popular mechanical binding style available and is ideal for applications that require leaving both hands free during use. Coil or spiral binding is one of several methods of securing loose printed pages using single or double loop wire or plastic that fit into round or rectangular holes in the pages. PUR binding is the strongest adhesive biding method available. This type of bookbinding uses a flexible adhesive to attaches a paper cover to the spine of the assembled signatures. Our new PUR Binding service now features high-speed, 18-pocket capabilities with in-line 3-knife trimming.
When submitting materials to Feiereisen, we request:

Sample blueline of previous sample
Ruled sheet showing final trim and spine width
Any special boxing and label instructions
% overrun (10% is standard if not specified)
Prefer signatures on separate skids and/or clearly marked
A single 2- or 4-page signature should fall in the center of the book
Estimate number if job has been quoted
